The Dolomiti Wellness Hotel Fanes opened in 1957, making it one of the most established hotels in Alta Badia and one of the first in San Cassiano/St. Kassian. Originally, Fanes was a large farmhouse, which is still remembered today by the old entrance door next to the 16th-century “Stube” (parlour). The ambience radiates warmth and history, which you can best experience for yourself – including the thrills, of course!

The panorama of the Dolomites is unique: from the Lagazuoi massif to the Sassongher, from the Sella Group to the Cima Conturines/Conturines-Spitze, with the Fanes Nature Park behind it, from which the name, inspired by the Ladin language and culture, derives. The interior design as well as the furnishings of the rooms have been chosen very deliberately and feature original furniture from the 16th and 17th century. There are rooms that boast ornate pieces along with modern rooms that meet the needs and wishes of the guests while always paying respect to the architecture.
